Description
The Elegance Plyquet Rift & Quartered (R&Q) Collection showcases premium White Oak hardwood flooring engineered for long-term performance and a clean, sophisticated appearance. Produced using specialized rift and quarter-sawn cutting techniques, each plank features straight, vertical grain patterns with minimal knots and consistent visual flow—ideal for interiors that value both refinement and authenticity.
Constructed with a 4 mm wear layer and a substantial 3/4″ overall thickness, this engineered hardwood floor delivers strength, dimensional stability, and durability suited for both residential and light commercial applications. Rift-sawn boards are cut at a slight angle to the growth rings to create uniform grain lines, while quarter-sawn boards are milled from quartered logs to enhance structural integrity and reduce seasonal movement. Together, these methods produce flooring that is as dependable as it is visually elegant.
A light brushed texture combined with a low-sheen matte finish accentuates the wood’s natural grain while helping conceal everyday wear, footprints, and glare—offering a modern, understated surface that maintains its beauty over time.
Natural Color
The Natural finish brings out the warm, true-to-tone character of White Oak while adding subtle depth and gentle color enhancement. Unlike Raw, which appears nearly untouched, Natural introduces a soft honey-beige warmth that enriches the grain without overpowering it. This versatile tone complements a wide range of styles—from traditional and transitional to contemporary and modern—making it an excellent choice for open-concept homes, living areas, and designer-led spaces seeking a balanced, timeless foundation.
